BMSICL Floats Tenders for Three Hospital Projects in Bihar Worth Over ₹76 Crore

Bihar Medical Services & Infrastructure Corporation Limited has invited bids for the construction of three major hospital infrastructure projects across Bihar with a combined estimated cost of more than ₹76 crore.

The tenders were issued under Tender Notice No. BMSICL/Infra/14/2025 dated May 20, 2025, as part of the state government’s push to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in key districts.

The proposed projects include the construction of a 100-bed sub-divisional hospital at Bagaha in West Champaran district, another 100-bed hospital at Hilsa in Nalanda district, and a 50-bed hospital building at Bakhri in Begusarai district. The estimated project costs are around ₹28.05 crore each for the Bagaha and Hilsa hospitals, while the Begusarai project is valued at approximately ₹20.88 crore.

According to the tender schedule, online bid submissions will begin from May 30, 2025 and continue till June 19, 2025 through the Bihar government’s e-procurement portal. Technical bids are scheduled to be opened on June 20, 2025, while a pre-bid meeting has been fixed for June 4, 2025 at the BMSICL conference hall in Patna.

All three projects are expected to be completed within 12 months from the award of work. Contractors participating in the tender process must have prior experience in executing similar infrastructure works over the past five years.
