The Bihar Cabinet has approved a major urban expansion and township development initiative aimed at promoting planned urbanisation through master plan-based growth across 11 cities and regions in the state.
The decision was taken during the Cabinet meeting held on April 22, 2026, under the provisions of the Bihar Urban Planning and Development Act, 2012.
