The Bihar State Educational Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. has awarded a contract worth ₹16.04 crore for the construction of a new Science Block and Auditorium at Magadh Mahila College.
The project, floated under Tender Notice No. 31 (2025-26), includes the construction of a G+6 Science Block along with an auditorium within the college campus in Patna. The estimated project cost was around ₹29.69 crore.
The short-term e-tender was published on September 12, 2025 through the Bihar government’s e-procurement portal. Bid submissions were accepted from September 19 to September 26, 2025, while the technical bids were opened on September 28, 2025.
Gobinda Construction emerged as the successful bidder for the project, securing the work order at an awarded value of ₹16.04 crore. The Purchase Order (PO) was issued on January 15, 2026.
The project is scheduled to be completed within 18 months and is expected to strengthen educational infrastructure at Magadh Mahila College by providing upgraded science education facilities and a modern auditorium for academic and institutional activities.
