IRCON has received two bids for the Expression of Interest (EOI) seeking association as a Joint Venture (JV) partner for the construction of the four-lane Bhagalpur – Kharhara Village Dhaka More section of NH-133E in Bihar on EPC mode.
The proposed highway stretch will cover a total length of 36.600 km and is expected to improve regional road connectivity in the Bhagalpur region.

Both bids were admitted under the Fee, Pre-Qualification, Technical, and Financial evaluation stage during the bid opening process held on 15 May 2026.

Project Details
The project involves the construction of a four-lane highway with paved shoulders on the NH-133E corridor from Bhagalpur to Kharhara Village Dhaka More. The work will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode.
The stipulated period of work for the project is 730 days.
